for both family and home.
With 'Protection Plus' you can be alerted to some or all of the following options:
Burglar
Fire
Personal Attack
Electrical Supply Failure
Carbon Monoxide Leakage

A Call Button for an elderly relative can be incorporated into the system.

There is also the 'Safe@Home' innovation for young children which can let you know that they have returned home from school, etc.

How Does it Work?
Firstly, Capital will install the alarm system, together with any other detection or safety devices selected.

Secondly, the mobile and landline telephone numbers, together with e-mail addresses, of up to 6 selected people (friends, relatives or neighbours) will be entered into the system.

Finally, using an existing telephone line, 'Protection Plus' will be activated.

What Happens when there is an Activation?
WIn the event of a life threatening activation, such as Fire, Personal Attack or Carbon Monoxide Leakage, 'Protection Plus' will immediately 'Splash Message' all designated people by text, voice message and e-mail simultaneously.

The information provided includes the type of activation, address, date and time.

For an intruder alarm activation, 'Protection Plus' will firstly telephone the home to make sure it is not a false alarm. It will then text, voice message and e-mail the first nominated person.

If there is not an acknowlegement, 'Protection Plus' will drop down to the next person and so on until a response is received. This means that someone will be informed of the situation at your house and can take the appropriate action.

This is an important feature as it is the Police policy generally NOT to attend an alarm activation unless there is additional confirmation of a break-in.
